2010 Atlanta Falcons forecasts

Atlanta Falcons in the 2010 season with one thing in mind, head to win the NFC South. The Falcons fought through a lot of injuries to key players in 2009, but still managed to finish the season 9-7. I think there are a lot of people sleep on the Falcons in 2010. You have to manage a lot easier this season, and have some good moves this offseason and should head into the season relatively healthy. Here is a brief look at the 2010 Atlanta Falcons, plus myPrediction of where they are to finish in the NFC South.

Offence:

Jump Starter

The Falcons have one of the best quarterbacks in the league Matt Ryan, who is entering his third season in the NFL. Ryan has played like a veteran in 2009, throwing for 2,916 yards with 22 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Watch out for a monster season from Ryan in 2010.

The Falcons need running backs Michael Turner and Jerious Norwood in 2010 remain healthy. Turner has been for five games in 2009,Norwood and lost six games. When healthy, these two shoulders a great 1-2 punch and a duo running the Hawks may occur at the top of the NFL quickly form.

No major exterior changes for the Falcons. Roddy White has emerged as one of the top receivers in the game, and comes from a 85-catch season for 1153 yards and 11 points. The Falcons would like to see more of No. 2 receiver Michael Jenkins this season, especially with all the attention, White and tight end TonyGonzalez has received from opposing teams defensive backs.

The offensive line remains intact heading into the 2010 season, and the only player who had missed more than two games at right guard Harvey Dahl line. The Falcons are very strong in the two positions to deal with Sam Baker and Tyson Clabo. Center Todd McClure experience with the starter with experience more than four years, this device should only go better in the seasons to come.

Defense:

The HawksI hope you have a season full of defensive tackle Peria Jerry this season, played only two games as Jerry in 2009 before tearing the ACL. Jerry has the ability to really make a big impact on the defense when it came to a position in good health and ready to go. Jonathan Babineaux and the other starters pencil, while Thomas Johnson to be used as backup or starter if Jerry is not ready. The Falcons have hoped that with the best game in the middle, a veteranDefensive end John Abraham will be able to recover the total lots in 2010. Abraham went from 16.5 sacks in 2008 to just 5.5 in 2009. Kroy Biermann, Jamaal Anderson and Chauncey Davis will compete for the other end before starting place in training camp.

The Falcons used their first-round outside linebacker Sean Weatherspoon, and think that this child is a star in this league for years to come. Curtis Lofton is stapled as the starter at middle linebacker, and MikePeterson and Stephen Nicholas, both of which are again outside the colon, but not surprised, when Weatherspoon finished starting point for Nicholas.

The Falcons were 28 against the pass is not good last season when they finished the year in adequate defense. They added this offseason corner Dunt Robinson, and he should immediately make this team better. Brian Williams in the 2009 season will be one of the starters in a corner, but it is a tear of ACL, could end up being Brent Grimes, whostarted nine games in 2009. There were no changes to the safety, security and free safety Erik Coleman DeCloud Thomas, both are back.

Forecast - 2 nd NFC South: I still have this team behind the sanctuary, but I would not be surprised if this team has exceeded my expectations and won the division in 2010. No doubt, they need a great season of Turner, if they are forced to win the division. It could easily see this team win 10-11 games in 2010.
